| Description: | Sanjay Nigam is currently Writer-in-Residence at the UCSD School of Medicine, where he also holds the Nancy Kaehr Chair in Pediatric Research. He was selected by the Utne Reader as one of ten writers changing the face of fiction. His first novel, The Snake Charmer, was hailed as ''a marvelous creation'' by The New York Times. His most recent novel, Transplanted Man (Harper Collins/William Morrow), was chosen as year’s best fiction by Publisher’s Weekly and San Diego Magazine. This book has been compared with Catch 22 and The World According to Garp. |
