| Description: | Martin Sereno, a professor in UCSD’s department of cognitive science, will discuss the revolution in human brain imaging that has made it possible to see the brain in action. He will demonstrate some of the latest results from mapping human visual, auditory, touch, and movement systems, and describe how scientists routinely unfold the human cortex in order to visualize the mosaic of almost one hundred cortical areas. |
