| Description: | Heroes and legends of the U.S. Southwest and Mexico come to life through the stirring voices and songs of Agustin Lira and Patricia Wells Solorzano. El Teatro de la Tierra takes us on an educational and artistic journey that evokes memories, past and present, of such outstanding, dynamic, and memorable figures as Cesar Chavez, Emiliano Zapata, Juan Cortina, Gregorio Cortez, Dolores Huerta, Reies Lopez Tijerina, Emma Tenayuca, and Rodolfo Corky Gonzales. Admission to the lecture is free and Parking is $3.00 after 4:30 p.m. For additional information call: (858) 822-0510 The Helen Edison Lecture Series is the result of a major gift from the late Helen Edison, a San Diego philanthropist who supported numerous local, educational, cultural, and arts efforts.
