| Description: | This year Home Movie Day comes to San Diego! The Arts Library at UCSD's Geisel Library invites the community to Home Movie Day on August 12th, 2006 from 2-5:30 pm. HMD is an annual event held worldwide, celebrating home movies and our collective recorded past. This is a community event that invites you - yes you - to bring in your home movies to get advice on cleaning, conserving and watching! Most importantly, we will have 8 and 16 millimeter projectors running all day, showing the home movies that you bring in and home movies from our extensive and unusual collection. If you don’t have films of your own to screen, come to have some snacks, watch some amazing films and learn about the magic of home movies. |
