Description: Tsitsi Mutseta is a 33-year old woman from Rundongo, Zimbabwe. She was trafficked to the U.S. in 2000 and kept as a slave in Vista for three years. She finally broke free, after months of hardships, and started going to San Diego State as a nursing student.

In a letter from her brother back in Rundongo, she learned that 147 (out of 150) of her high school class mates had died from HIV/AIDS, cholera, malaria, or TB. Over the last couple of years, seven of her family members have died, leaving her with eight children to care for.

One year ago, Tsitsi was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer. She was forced to drop out of nursing school, quit her jobs, and focus on her treatments.
