These new tools and technologies are often referred to collectively as Web 2.0. In this hands-on session, you'll get to try out some of these new technologies and see how they can work for you: 1. Blogs: how to find the good ones and what you need to set up your own 2. Wikis for collaborative writing and editing 3. RSS feeds for keeping up with news and information (including podcasts) 4. Social software, from Facebook to del.icio.us Note: For UCSD faculty and staff. Anyone else should contact the instructor first. |
