| Description: | With its opening, UC San Diego’s new $53 million Conrad Prebys Music Center launches the university’s Department of Music into the future with state-of-the-art classrooms, practice studios, audio labs and world-class performance spaces including a 400-seat concert hall designed by Seattle-based LMN Architects in collaboration with world-renowned acoustician Cyril M. Harris, Ph.D. A limited number of tickets for the concert and champagne reception will go on sale on April 27 for $125 each through the UCSD Box Office (858-534-TIXS).
