| Description: | Join Scripps Institution of Oceanography scientists and students who are working to understand the structure and evolution of the solar system and its planets, and creating early warning systems for rapid response to catastrophic hazards such as earthquakes and tsunamis. Featured Presentations by Yehuda Bock, Scripps Research Geodesist and Director of Scripps Orbit and Permanent Array Center: Early Warning and Rapid Response for Mitigating Natural Hazards; James Day, Scripps Assistant Professor of Geosciences: Making the Earth’s Moon; and Daniel Rohrlick, Scripps Programmer Analyst: Quake Catcher Network Kinect Demonstration.
