America’s Opioid Epidemic: History and Best Practices for Medication-Assisted Treatment

A psychiatrist whose research examines health outcomes of individuals with substance use disorders, she will explain why opioids are so powerfully addictive and discuss the latest—and sometimes controversial—evidence-based treatments for those struggling with addiction.
