This 1-hour online workshop* invites participants to sample several mindful approaches to managing stress during this difficult time of social distancing, political uncertainty and economic turbulence. No previous Experience with mind-body techniques or philosophies is not required. Content is flexible and appropriate to all abilities and ages. The presenter will introduce participants to research-based, highly effective and calming practices which allow us to deepen our relationship with and experience of our physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual selves. Three simple skills will be demonstrated which can help to prevent illness and burn out, increase sleep quality and concentration, and provide us with tools to guard ourselves against the negative effects of anxiety, worry and tension. The course includes:
