The 2016 Kuffler Lectures will be delivered May 11-13 by William T. Newsome, collectively titled “Eye, Brain and Decision.” Dr. Newsome, Director of the Stanford Neuroscience Institute, studies fundamental principles that mediate visual perception and visually guided behavior, and he has made fundamental contributions to understanding how neural circuits control behavior.
