All are invited to join in the 51st annual Pumpkin Drop, one of UC San Diego’s oldest traditions. On Friday, Oct. 26, at 12:30 p.m., four pumpkins—called the “QuaDROPlets”—will be dropped from the top of Tioga Hall in Muir College. The 11-story fall will send candy flying from the carved-out pumpkins! Immediately following, join in a Halloween festival in Muir Quad. The event will include a range of activities, from bubble soccer and face painting to “Pie your HA” and other games. There will also be food, churros and a popcorn machine.
