2022 Legacy Lecture featuring Professor Will Styler

“If this were the last lecture you ever gave, what would you want to share with the world?”
Legacy Lecture, hosted by the UCSD Scholars Society, is an annual event in which a UCSD professor, chosen by student vote, is invited to present a lecture to the student body answering that question.
At this year's event, Professor Will Styler of the Linguistics department will explain why he believes that, even though we do it every day without thinking twice, using and understanding language may just be the most complicated and amazing thing any of us will ever do.
