An in-person cardiovascular scientific seminar featuring Dr. Paola Rosas (Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice, College of Pharmacy at University of Illinois Chicago), who will present on “From the Gut to the Myofilament: The Impact of Fiber in a Mouse Model of Heart Failure”. The seminar is hosted by the UC San Diego Future Faculty of Cardiovascular Sciences (FOCUS) program. FOCUS is an NHLBI-sponsored career development program for junior faculty in cardiovascular sciences and is a member of Programs to Increase Diversity Among Individuals Engaged in Health Related Research (PRIDE).
