29th Annual AAASRC Awards Banquet: Transitions and Reflections on Black Art

The 29th Annual AAASRC Awards Banquet will provide recognition to students, staff and faculty who have excelled in African Studies at UCSD this year. The keynote speaker is Adéwálé Adénlé, Visual Artist, Educator, Arts Administrator, and Curator from The Ohio State University. His lecture is entitled "Indigenous Context Engagement Paradigm (ICEP): Reviving Africa in African Ethnographic Objects in American Art Museums." Dinner will be served.
