About the Speaker

Dr. Robert T. Schooley is a renowned infectious diseases expert as well as the Division Head and Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases at UC San Diego. With expertise in HIV/AIDS research, he has contributed significantly to clinical trials and global health initiatives. Dr. Schooley's current research focuses on HIV and HCV pathogenesis and therapy in resource-limited settings.
