The Teaching and Learning Commons, in partnership with Educational Technology Services, will host an Active Learning Showcase on April 8, 2016 from 1:00pm–4:00pm. All faculty are invited to attend. You will hear from faculty in Chemistry + Biochemistry, Physics, Making of the Modern World, and the Library about how active learning spaces across the campus are creating an engaged learning environment at UC San Diego. Dr. Gabriele Wienhausen, faculty director of The Teaching + Learning Commons, will lead a discussion on active learning and share teaching strategies that promote active learners.
