Master percussionist Gene Perry and his ensemble demonstrate African and Afro-Caribbean drumming and dance styles with audience participation. Free and open to the campus and general public. Refreshments. Children and amateurs welcome! Bring your own instruments if possible for full participation. A small number of instruments will be available on a first come, first served basis. This event is in the Atkinson Pavilion at the UC San Diego Faculty Club. Campus is currently under construction, so allow plenty of time for parking.
