It’s that time of year again! Join us for our Annual Turkey Calling Show and learn more about the beloved turkey through calling techniques and more.

This noisy show at the Library has become a community tradition. Kids are welcome (and they’ll be reciting turkey-related riddles). Presented as an old-time radio show, this celebration is filled with music, sound effects, stories and facts of interest… prizes, too (no one leaves empty-handed).

Your emcee, Scott Paulson, a UC San Diego alumnus and our exhibits and events coordinator, will be joined by many special guests, including Story Lady Melanie Peters, Turkey Hotline Operator Karen Fisher,  DJ Camille Cannon, and special musical guests Bobby Ortiz and Christian Hertzog.

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
