Jun 11, 2025–Jun 13, 2025 from 4:00pm–8:00pm
Opening Day: June 11th, 4pm - 8 pm
Closing Ceremony: June 13th, 4pm - 6pm
If Only You Knew is a bold and boundary-pushing student art exhibition presented by VIS 164, VIS 168, and VIS 174. This is not your average gallery show, it’s an immersive experience where vulnerability meets experimentation, and where art defies limitation. Join us for the opening day on June 11th, 2025 from 4PM to 8PM at Common’s Gallery (VAF 404). You'll have the chance to meet the artists behind the work, chat with the professor who helped bring their vision to life, and enjoy complimentary food while exploring an exhibition full of personal, thought-provoking, and experimental work.
The show will feature a wide range of mediums, from photography, fine art, and mixed media to projections, sculpture, photo books, and interactive pieces. Expect anything and everything. Every artist poured themselves into their process, and they are eager to engage with visitors and share the stories behind their work.
If you can’t make the opening, the exhibition will also be open for walk-in on June 12th from 4PM to 8PM, and will conclude with a closing ceremony on June 13th from 4PM to 6PM, which will also include food and drinks and a final chance to meet some of the artists. We strongly recommend coming to opening night to experience the strong community that has grown over the past school year.
Come with curiosity, come with an open mind, or just come to take it all in. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of what happens when artists are given a space to play, feel, and to fearlessly create.
