We will post a Chronology of UC San Diego Bioengineering starting in 1966 in which you will find many of the contributions bioengineering has made over a half century. The 50th Anniversary Celebration will be preceded by the annual UC San Diego Bioengineering Day on Thursday, May 19. Thursday, May 19—Welcome Evening Reception in the Bear Courtyard of the Jacobs School of Engineering right in front of the Powell-Focht Bioengineering Hall. Friday, May 20—A day of reflections and plans for the Department followed by a Gala Evening Dinner at the Birch Aquarium. Saturday, May 21—A look into the future by distinguished speakers at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla and an afternoon for networking and socializing.
