Join the center as he draws from these developments to reflect on current events such as Brexit, U.S. elections and U.S.-Mexico relations. Agustin Basave is a congressman and the former chairman of the Party of the Democratic Revolution in Mexico. He was a professor and a researcher at the Institute for Social Research at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Basave previously served as an editor for the newspapers Excelsior and Reforma, while also occasionally collaborating with the magazine Nexos and the newspaper El Universal.
