The UC San Diego Staff Association and Campus Human Resources invite you to Cabinet Conversations, a series of conversations with cabinet members via Zoom.

Our next Cabinet Conversation, scheduled for Tuesday, October 20 from 10–10:45 a.m., is with Dr. Becky Petitt, Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. The conversation will be moderated by Tammy T. Blevins, chair of the Black Staff Association and Associate Director of Faculty and Staff Giving.

In her role as VC-EDI, Dr. Petitt serves as the lead senior executive responsible for providing a holistic and integrated vision on all major equity, diversity and inclusions efforts at UC San Diego.

Dr. Petitt joined UC San Diego in March 2015 and brings over 25 years of progressive administrative experience in equity, diversity, and inclusion work across the higher education community. Prior to UC San Diego, she served as the Associate Vice President and Chief of Staff for the Office of Diversity at Texas A&M University, and served as adjunct faculty in the College of Education and Human Development with scholarship focused on diversity in higher education, cultural competence, organizational development, and inclusive teaching and learning.
