Feb 16, 2021–Feb 16, 2021 from 10:00am–11:00am
The UC San Diego Staff Association and Campus Human Resources invite you to Cabinet Conversations, a series of conversations with cabinet members via Zoom.
Cabinet Conversations is a series of conversations with cabinet members designed to provide staff the opportunity to get to know our campus leaders on a more personal level and hear what leaders have to say about important topics impacting our campus. As part of the Staff Association's strategic plan, these sessions have been developed per requests in the following campaigns: the UC San Diego Staff at Work survey, the Council of UC Staff Assemblies Engagement Survey, and the UC San Diego Idea Wave campaign.
Our next Cabinet Conversation, scheduled for Tuesday, February 16 from 10–10:45 a.m., is with Margaret Leinen, Vice Chancellor for Marine Sciences, Director of Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Dean of the Graduate School of Marine Sciences. Leinen is an award-winning oceanographer and distinguished national and international leader in ocean science, global climate and environmental issues. Her research in paleo-oceanography and paleo-climatology focuses on ocean sediments and their relationship to global biogeochemical cycles and the history of Earth’s ocean and climate. Don’t miss this opportunity to get to know our campus leaders and participate in the conversation. We’d like to hear from you, too. If there’s anything you’d like to ask our guest, please include your question when you register.
