CARTA invites you to join us for our FREE, virtual public symposium, "Comparative Anthropogeny: From Molecules to Societies," on SATURDAY, October 16, 2021. This online-only event begins at 12:00 p.m. (Pacific) with LIVE Discussion and Q&A commencing ~ 3:30 p.m. (Pacific).
This symposium will address several important, distinctly human characteristics that range from molecules to metabolism, anatomy, disease, and behavior. Goals include transdisciplinary interactions, improved self-understanding, promotion of ethically sound studies to explain known differences, and the generation of new, potentially unexplored, insights on uniquely human specializations.
Attend this FREE, public symposium via a LIVE webcast. Registration is encouraged but not required. See the CARTA event website for details regarding registration and participation.
Co-presented by the UC San Diego/Salk Institute and The Center for Academic Research and Training in Anthropogeny (CARTA). Sponsored by CARTA Major Sponsor, Annette Merle-Smith.
