DESCRIPTION:Join us on a tour of the Central Utilities Plant (CUP) hosted b
 y CUP Manager\, Keenan Mrozek. These tours are open to all members of the 
 UCSD community. Participants will get a behind the scenes look at where UC
 SD’s energy comes from – see the turbines in action\, get a sneak peek
  into the control room\, and learn all about the art of cogeneration. This
  is also a unique opportunity to discuss potential paths to decarbonizatio
 n and hear about current sustainability efforts from the experts who keep 
 campus running!  \n\n  \n\nPlease note that the CUP is a loud and active i
 ndustrial environment and\, while ear protection will be provided\, those 
 with sensitivities to noise or limited mobility may want to view our virtu
 al tour\, coming soon! Participants are strongly encouraged to wear closed
 -toe shoes and full-length pants.  \n\n  \n\nTour groups are limited to 10
  people\, and all interested people/groups will be placed on a waitlist fo
