UC San Diego’s Chinese Studies Program, Center for Taiwan Studies and the Library are co-hosting two Chinese calligraphy workshops with special guest Joan Yin. The first session will be from 10 to 11 a.m., and the second from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Joan will give live demonstrations at the workshop, and then attendees will be free to try their hand at Chinese calligraphy or brush painting skills. Xi Chen, the Sally T. WongAvery Librarian for Chinese Studies, will be in attendance and available to answer questions.

This workshop is free and open to anyone in the UC San Diego community who wishes to learn Chinese calligraphy. Seating is limited, so advanced registration is encouraged to ensure your spot.
