Collaborative Intelligence
Through a series of practices and strategies, participants will learn how to recognize different mind patterns and map the talents of your teams, with the goal of embarking together on an aligned course of action and influence.
About the Program
We’ve all had those meetings…the ones where we find ourselves asking “what is wrong with them?” But what if they are not the problem? What if we just haven’t found the best path to communicate and collaborate with someone whose intellectual processes differ from ours? Collaborative intelligence works to create understanding about the variety of ways people think and process information to foster a stronger sense of collaboration in the workplace. Through a series of practices and strategies, participants will learn how to recognize different mind patterns and map the talents of your teams, with the goal of embarking together on an aligned course of action and influence.
The course is drawn from the book Collaborative Intelligence by Dawna Markova, a culmination of more than fifty years of original research that draws on the author’s background in cognitive neuroscience and her work with Professional Thinking Partners. Dr. Rebecca Johannsen has a certification in Collaborative Intelligence from Professional Thinking Partners and the course uses materials developed by Markova to bring theory into practice.
This program works with participants to:

“This inspiring book teaches you how to align your intention with the intention of others, and how, through shared strengths and talents, you have every right to expect greatness and set the highest goals and expectations.”—Deepak Chopra

Who Should Attend
Praise for Collaborative Intelligence:
“Everyone talks about collaboration today, but the rhetoric typically outweighs the reality. Collaborative Intelligence offers tangible tools for those serious about becoming ‘system leaders’ who can close the gap and make collaboration real.”—Peter M. Senge, author of The Fifth Discipline
“I have worked with Markova and McArthur for several years, focusing on achieving better results through intellectual diversity. Their approach has encouraged more candid debate and collaborative behavior within the team. The team, not individuals, becomes the hero.”—Al Carey, CEO, PepsiCo
