Continuity and Innovation in Traditional Chinese Painting
As part of Chinese Art Week, four prominent artists from China and Taiwan will share their artistic journeys, followed by a live demonstration of creating Chinese paintings. UC San Diego art historian and professor Kuiyi Shen will provide short commentaries and moderate a discussion. Paintings by these artists will be exhibited at the University Gallery starting at 3 p.m. and additional gallery hours through Oct. 2.
