Instructor Bio
Janeal Ford has served in the nonprofit sector for more than 20 years’ and brings a wealth of experience to best-practice fundraising. In 2014, she founded Fordable Fundraising, a consulting firm providing fundraising education, consulting and grant services. In 2020, the company helped 21 nonprofits secure $7.4 million dollars for their charitable missions.
Ford received a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Utah and is a Certified Fund-Raising Executive. Janeal is originally from Utah and has made San Diego her home for the past eight years. She enjoys teaching the joys of fundraising and serves as instructor for UC San Diego Extension’s Fundraising Certificate Program teaching both Annual Giving and Donor Relations and Stewardship.
