The Anthropology, Performance, and Technology Program (APT) of the Jacobs School of Engineering invites you to a screening of a documentary film on artificial intelligence. This will be followed by commentary from guest panelists from the University of California, San Diego: Jonathon Paden, a Postdoctoral Researcher and artist in residence at the Arthur C. Clarke Center for Human Imagination (AACCHI), Amy Alexander a Professor of Computing in the Arts at UC San Diego, and Henrik Christensen the Qualcomm Chancellor’s Chair of Robot Systems and a Distinguished Professor of Computer Science at Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering. This interactive panel discussion will be moderated by the Director of APT, Hortense Gerardo. Panelists will share their unique perspectives as they relate to the film and audience members will have the opportunity to share their thoughts and ask questions during a Q&A.
There will be a reception afterwards with light refreshment.
