Join the Cross-Cultural Center for our Summer Reading Club for Students. We will be reading "Are Prisons Obsolete?" by Angela Davis. All students and recent graduates are welcome. Register at tinyurl.com/cccsummerreading

2-4pm Monday, July 27th Chapters 1–3
2-4pm Monday, August 10th Chapters 4–6

Please note this reading club is for students, the staff reading club is a separate event.

“In this brilliant, thoroughly researched book, Angela Davis swings a wrecking ball into the racist and sexist underpinnings of the American prison system. Her arguments are well wrought and restrained, leveling an unflinching critique of how and why more than 2 million Americans are presently behind bars, and the corporations who profit from their suffering.” —Former Rep. Cynthia McKinney [D-Georgia]
