Feb 7, 2025–Feb 7, 2025 from 9:00am–5:00pm
Join us for an interdisciplinary event exploring themes of climate change, human and more-than-human displacements, and calls for reparation across the Americas and Pacific Islands. Through presentations, discussions and workshops, we will engage with the cascading concerns of human and ecological fragility and agency in this interconnected region with scholars, activists, artists, journalists, librarians, and scientists.
The event is free and open to the public but registration is required.
Organized by Nature, Space and Politics, the Human Rights and Migration Program, Muir College, the Democracy Lab, UC San Diego Library and The Loft.
Find more information, including the agenda, panelists and presenter bios and suggested readings, on the UC San Diego’s Nature, Spaces, and Politics Group website.
