May 1, 2019–May 1, 2019 from 5:00pm–6:30pm
Join the UC San Diego Library in partnership with the Origami Folders for a hands-on workshop where attendees will have the opportunity to make their own origami creations alongside club members. The Origami Folders is a student organization whose mission is to provide an outlet for origami enthusiasts to fold and share their passion with others. They host weekly meetings and regularly set up folding tables to introduce the campus community to the Japanese art of origami. The Library’s Origami Exhibit is currently on display in Geisel West (1st Floor) and features an elaborate array of origami masterpieces and educational material. This event is free and open to the public.
