About the Program: Think emotions don't belong in the workplace? Whether we want them there or not, emotions play a principal role in our workplace satisfaction. The primary reason employees leave a company is because of the relationship with their boss. The Emotional Intelligence (EQ) course works with leaders and direct reports to manage emotions in the workplace for a more successful and productive environment. This course focuses on both the art and science of emotional intelligence. Participants will learn the latest research and scientific advances in the area, as well as practice techniques used by actors to engage in active listening, connect to an audience, connect to their own emotions and de-stress before a big event. The course combines theory with practice, empowering participants to take the skills learned in the course and apply them immediately to the real world.
