Join us for a few hours of creativity, community and exhibit building. Help turn images from the Library’s Digital Collections into a Rubik’s Cube mosaic exhibit that will inspire visitors for months to come.

We’ll provide a pre‑designed mosaic template — a pixel‑by‑pixel layout that shows exactly where each color belongs. Attendees will solve their Rubik’s Cubes to match the template sections and then place the completed cubes onto the grid, bringing the digital artwork to life, piece by piece.

The Library is thrilled to partner with UC San Diego’s Rubik’s Cube Club, whose members will be on‑hand to guide cube‑building techniques, share speed‑cubing tips and keep the puzzle‑energy high!

Registration is not required; drop in as your schedule allows on any of the following Fridays from 2–4 p.m. PT: January 23, January 30, February 6, February 20, February 27 and March 6, 2026.
