The Extended Studies Showcase, scheduled for September 18, 2024, at their new facility at 8980 Villa La Jolla, will bring together a diverse group of university leaders to explore the theme of partnership and collaboration. The highlight of the morning will be the panel discussion, "Partnering for Excellence with Extended Studies," featuring campus leaders like Karen Flammer, Director of Digital Learning, Sara Allard, Deputy Director of Athletics, Wael Al-Delaimy, Professor of Global Health, and Joseph Ma, Professor of Clinical Pharmacy. These distinguished speakers will share their insights on how collaboration across disciplines and sectors can enhance educational and research outcomes. The event will also feature a Program Resource Fair and an insightful presentation by Eugene Yoo, Proposal Development and Grant Writer for Extended Studies, on developing collaborative grant proposals. Yoo will emphasize the growing importance of joint efforts in securing funding and how Extended Studies can be a key partner in these initiatives.
