Sep 22, 2022–Sep 22, 2022 from 3:00pm–4:15pm
In his new book "Fixing the Climate," David G. Victor creates a road map of institutional design that can lead to self-sustaining reductions in emissions that years of global diplomacy have failed to deliver. This roadmap requires wide ranging collaborations across overlapping, yet often siloed academic fields.
Join us on Sept. 22 at 3 p.m. PDT where an expert panel will examine how UC San Diego has created larger research linkages and fostered an integrated campus-wide ecosystem of academic disciplines focused on climate science and policy. Panelists will explore the larger questions for climate policy, in particular whether the world has now turned a corner on getting serious about climate and whether international cooperation is now working.
