The FORCE11 Scholarly Communications Institute (FSCI2018) is a 5-day intensive summer training institute designed to empower researchers, administrators, librarians, data managers, students and others to navigate the new world of Scholarly Communication. Scholarly Communication is in the midst of a system-wide disruption. There are new forms of publications, standards, and expectations, with multiple ways of measuring and demonstrating success. All levels of participant, from absolute beginners to those advanced at scholarly communication, will find courses of interest. The FORCE11 Scholarly Communications Summer Institute (FSCI2018) is being hosted by the UC San Diego Library, and will be held July 30 - August 3, 2018 at the MET Building.
