How does the West view the East? Come by the Women’s Center on May 4th from 1-2pm to explore Orientalism and dismantle common stereotypes that portray Asian cultures as exotic, barbaric, and inferior. Light refreshments will be provided, as well as the chance to win the 1978 book Orientalism by late Palestinian-American academic Edward Said! Attendees will be entered in a raffle for a Goodie Bag at the end of the quarter, featuring a puzzle, face masks, and a blind box in a limited edition WC tote!
