With SD being so close to the border, come learn about what's happening so close to where people call home. International House exists to foster cross-cultural understanding and global awareness. Border Angels directly engages in similar values through their work between the US and Mexico and take part in a wide variety of projects to support the local and immigrating communities.
Meet the Border Angels
Founded in 1987, this nonprofit organization was created to support farmworker migrants who lived in the North San Diego County. They provide essential resources and advocate for their rights. Over the years, their work has grown to reflect the needs of immigrant communities. Now, they provide life saving humanitarian aid along the entire U.S.-Mexico Border continuing their commitment to “dignity, safety, and love for all people on the move”. They advocate for human rights, humane immigration reform, and social justice with a special focus on issues related to the US-Mexican border.
