GPS Tackles Maternal and Child Health in the Developing World

GPS Tackles Maternal and Child Health in the Developing World

In collaboration with UC San Diego Alumni and Graduate Division, and in celebration of the School of Global Policy and Strategy’s (GPS’s) 30th Anniversary, we have launched a monthly webinar series titled “Designing Policy for a Global Impact.” The series will explore the research findings of GPS faculty, alumni and students as they strive to create informed policy choices across the globe. Each webinar will take a closer look at a topic currently under discussion in the public domain. The webinar format allows us to reach across the continents and engage an audience far beyond the shores of San Diego – perfect for alumni interested in staying up to date on the latest research coming out of GPS. Our first webinar, pulled from the policy concentration of energy, environment and health, will focus on global health and feature GPS professors Joshua Graff Zivin, Gordon McCord, GPS alumna Emily Foecke Munden, associate fellow with the CSIS Global Health Policy Center, and GPS student Carmen Sainz-Villalba.
