Grad forums showcase the diverse and innovative work of graduate students in the Music Department. The concerts feature performances of traditional and contemporary repertoire alongside new pieces by UC San Diego composers and improvisers. Featuring: Rebecca Lloyd-Jones and Juliana Gaona Villamizar performing Ming Qi (Bright Vessel) by Liza Lim Michael Jones and Ashley Zhang performing the world premiere of Put Your Ear to the River You Hear Trees by Aaron Wyanski Madison Greenstone performing sand, stone, stucco by Lydia Winsor Brindamour Kevin Schwenkler performing his work all mourners have such small hands A performance by Keir Gogwilt and Kyle Motl Followed by: Anthony Vine’s 4 x 300 x 45 for four cassette tape players (Audience members are recommended to move about the space, and come and go as they please.)
