Great California Shakeout with Birch Aquarium at Scripps

October 20, 10 a.m.—2 p.m. Free with aquarium admission. Join Birch Aquarium for the largest-ever earthquake drill in California and stay for a day of activities about seismic science. Design and construct your own building and test its ability to withstand an earthquake, test your knowledge of earthquake preparedness with an interactive game, and get moving and shaking with the Quake Catcher game from Scripps scientists.
