Growing Justice 2026 is a community-centered event hosted by the UC San Diego Underground Scholars Initiative, bringing together students, community members, artists, and organizations for an afternoon of connection, creativity, and resource sharing.

Held at Barrio Station in Barrio Logan, this free and open-to-the-community gathering highlights the power of collective healing and access to opportunity through a multidisciplinary experience. Attendees will engage with a community resource fair, explore a curated art exhibition, participate in wellness-focused activities, and attend a film screening followed by space for reflection and dialogue. A sustainable meal will be provided to foster community and shared experience.

Growing Justice is designed to uplift system-impacted individuals and communities while creating meaningful pathways between UC San Diego and the broader San Diego region. The event emphasizes restorative practices, cultural expression, and community partnership.
