Ann Hamilton is internationally acclaimed for her large-scale multimedia installations, public projects, and performance collaborations. Her process works in response to the architecture, social histories, and poetic associations of spaces, creating vast, immersive installations often noted for the sensory surrounds of their materials.
During her lecture, Ann will discuss her recent projects, including "KAHNOP • TO TELL A STORY," commissioned by the Stuart Collection.
The April 26 guest lecture is organized by the School of Arts and Humanities and Stuart Collection at UC San Diego and will take place at The Jeannie, located in the UC San Diego North Torrey Pines Living and Learning Neighborhood.
A separate opening celebration of Hamilton's "KAHNOP • TO TELL A STORY" as the newest installation of the Stuart Collection will take place Saturday, April 29. More information about the community event can be found here: https://stuartcollection.ucsd.edu/
