Learn about the timeless design philosophies behind a traditional Japanese garden in this special online outreach program. Together, we’ll explore harmony, balance, and beauty in nature — and try our hand at writing haiku inspired by these principles.

The entire event will be done in English including the Haiku writing activity, so no Japanese language skills are required. 

Participants will receive a walking tour video of the beautiful Japanese Friendship Garden and Museum via email on the day before this online event and also automatically enter a raffle to win a General Admission Pass to the Japanese Friendship Garden and Museum.
