As part of the Community, Arts & Resistance event series, the Institute of Arts & Humanities (IAH) at UC San Diego invites you to a special documentary film screening and discussion.
The film “Singing Our Way to Freedom” highlights the powerful story of Ramon “Chunky” Sanchez and the inspiring music of the Chicano Civil Rights Movement in San Diego.
Following the event will be a special panel featuring filmmaker Dr. Paul Espinosa along with guests Dr. Estevan Azcona and Dr. Michelle Tellez, concluding with an audience question & answer session.
