Işık Kaya: Monuments
Monuments is a photo and video project that shows a world which seems alien: freeway junctions of the Southern California landscape. From the perspective of the pedestrian, the gaze of the slow human sectioned by the spectacle above his head, we discover and observe a dehumanized architecture.
