Feb 20, 2024–Feb 20, 2024 from 4:00pm–5:00pm
Join Anne Vandenabeele to discuss how Japan’s economic challenges and policy choices over the last three decades have affected asset prices and investor interest in Japan. We will debunk the myth that the story is mostly about demographic headwinds. And with hints of change across the economy, from prices to lifetime employment and corporate governance, it’s a good time to ask whether Japan is at an inflection point that will see renewed interest from investors.
This Japan Zoominar @ UC San Diego is organized by the Japan Forum for Innovation and Technology at the UC San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy. For more information on activities, as well as recordings of previous Japan Zoominars, please visit jfit.ucsd.edu.
